 Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko ’s choice of outfit for her colleague Nkiru Sylvanus’ white wedding has raised eyebrows.



Veteran Nollywood star Nkiru Sylvanus and her husband, Japan-based actor Riches Sammy, had their church wedding ceremony on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

The event was well attended by their families, friends, and colleagues. Actress Destiny Etiko was one of the Nollywood stars who graced the ceremony.

Etiko took to her Instagram page to show her fans and followers how she stepped out for the wedding—she donned a stylish short white sheer dress.

Sharing the video online, she captioned it, “How I turned up for @nkirusylvanus_real PREMIUM WEDDING 💒 ❤️💫 Your home is blessed big sis ❤️🙌🙏”.

However, huge criticism trailed the video as social media users noted that the outfit was not appropriate for the occasion.

An Instagram follower @tabsalone wrote, “I love you, but your fashion sense is nonsense. U are so obsessed with snatching your waist. Allow your body to breathe. Your body is beautiful, but u don’t know how to dress. This particular outfit is not meant for the wedding event, maybe best for clubbing”.

Anther follower, @offical_ebonyqueen wrote, “You no see other people outfit? Change your stylist abeg… your fashion sense is zero.. no offense… if e good , I go still talk am”.

@djsilenttalkative, “Omoh the dress no follow for me ooo, I don’t know about you… Seems like net nd tight 😂😂😂”.
